I had let the dogs outside and meant to go let them inside and forgot! It happens. Anyhow, I have been meaning to blog but my computer is a little broken. I sit in front of a computer all day long at work I suppose I could blog from work. I don't like to blog from work because when I blog I become absorbed in what I am writing and lose track of time. I become distracted and unable to concentrate on my job so I would rather not do it. However, Mark has two computers. I could easily use his to blog. Truth of the matter is, after sitting in front of a computer for eight and a half ours a day, the last thing I feel like doing when I get home is sitting in front of a computer. Oddly enough, I never felt this way before. I feel poised on the edge, restless. Sitting still in front of a computer seems intolerably boring although I can't say I don't enjoy it when I do sit at the computer. I guess I wanted a little bit of a change and decided to take a little break from the computer world. I suppose you can say it worked because I felt this compelling need to blog today.

My cats Bosco and Jade are not living with their aunt Franca. Jade used to spend most of her life hiding in a corner. She absolutely hated the dogs and refused to interact with them on any level. She skittered and hid for the past five years. After the loss of Chester, (Franca's cat) Dexter (Chester's brother) was lonely. Franca agreed to take Bosco and Jade because they've been together since birth and she didn't not want them to be separated. So far, Bosco has adjusted quite well. Jade is still Jade but I am hoping that with time, she becomes less shy and comes out more. I don't believe she likes Dexter. I think she would make the ideal pet in a home with no animals, no kids, just a quiet, single cat home. Since the departure of these cats, Damien has become quite the cuddle-monster. He is around us no matter where we go. He comes when you call him. Whether Mark is sitting on his Lazy Boy, laying on the couch or tucked in under the blankets in bed, you can be sure that Damien will be there. He absolutely adores Mark! All the pets do.

I had a New Year's Party at my house. A New Year's Air Hockey/Hot Tub Party at that! Complete with a disturbing 2 Girls/1 Cup tribute. If you don't know what that is, you're better off. If you do, it really was one of the most perverse things I have ever witnessed.... and not in a good way either. It was a dual themed night though because the cast of A Clockwork Orange also put in an appearance! Most of my guests spent the night and were greeting with breakfast before they headed out. It was a good time and the first one I got to spend with Mark (I was in Florida with my sisters last year)

We're rearranged the spaces. I do have pictures but I haven't posted them yet. I really like the set up. I had my doubts at first. But it has really grown on me and I do quite enjoy it. Watching Enterprise is actually quite cozy. The only thing missing that would make it just right is a small area rug. I think a little area rug would just pull it all together.

And, I cut my hair! Well, I cut my hair in early December. I am almost due for another haircut. The trouble with short styles is that if you don't tend to them, they look all messy. I like my new short hair. It's very light but I have to blow dry it a little which sucks a lot because I hate blow drying my hair. I got a hair curler/brush blow dryer for Christmas which is perfect for me. It styles as it dries so I don't have to try to hold the blow dryer with one hand while maneuvering the brush with the other. It is a great invention and I am very glad for miracle inventions.

I had wanted to do some product reviews and post some recipes, but after all this, I have lost interest. It's terrible I know! I promise that it won't take this long between posts. I should have some pictures and reviews of some of my interesting vegan finds!

Oh.... I just remembered something.... I hear lots of people saying the word vegan pronounced differently than the way I pronounce it. I know I have heard people say it the way I do, but I wanted to check if there was a correct way to pronounce it. They are both correct.

The problem with going so long between blogs is that I forget about all the things that I wanted to write about. I am sure they will come to me.

Stay Safe & Have Fun!

//\\oo//\\

P.S. I am still just as terrible today as I was yesterday at proof-reading.

Christmas is Coming

<o:smarttagtype namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" name="place"></o:smarttagtype><o:smarttagtype namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" name="City"></o:smarttagtype><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml>

Christmas is really coming!
It’s hard to pretend it isn’t coming anymore. We’ve had snow! (Ok, a tiny scattering of snow but the
forecast calls for much more in the next few days) The pretty Christmas lights are out which I
LOVE. Christmas lights really add a lovely sparkle to the dark night and once
it snows and everything is white, the pretty colours liven up the night. Not
everyone will agree with me but since this is MY blog, I can write whatever I
want because it is MY opinion! Oh
Yeah! Shazam!

Last week I did my first Good Deed Winter Edition. It had snowed (not really SNOWED snowed, but
there was a light dusting on the road) and I was driving to work. I sometimes
take side roads if the main roads are reported to have lots of traffic on them.
This was such a day. I was drying behind this little station wagon for quite a
ways until we got to a curve on the road. As I rounded the bend, the station
wagon was gone. How could it be gone? There were no roads around… where did it
go? THERE it is – in the ditch! I
immediately pulled over and went over to see if everything was OK! The
passenger seemed a little shaken but was otherwise OK. He was so stressed out
about having gone off the road he forgot to put his car in PARK. It was still
rolling and was just a few inches from the gas lines. In the accident, the
loose things in his car got tossed around which included his cell phone. I let
him borrow mine to call for help and stuck around for a little while until he
had calmed down. When it seemed that everything was OK, I drove away. I have
never stopped at the scene of an accident before but then I have never been
there right when the accident happened.

Work is going quite well. My job is changing everyday. I am
doing some project management now, organizing internal communications and even
started a company newsletter which turned out to be such a great hit! No one asked me to put together a newsletter
– I chose to do it because I wanted to do something fun for the staff. One of
the guys suggested I start a JOKE OF THE DAY and the very next day I did just
that. I copy a joke, go out to the shop and put the new joke in the JOTD
binder. One morning one of the guys came upstairs giving me shit for not doing
my job. I wasn’t sure what he was talking about until he mentioned that he
looks forward to the JOTD during his first break and when it wasn’t there he
was so disappointed. So now, I have several jokes prepared in advance so I can
just go downstairs and put the new joke in the binder every morning. It’s a
small thing but it makes people happy and I am all about cheering people up.

This weekend my sister Franca
came up for one night. It was Dexter’s first time home alone since Chester passed away and Franca only came up for one night. We watched
some TV, went grocery shopping and generally hung out. Mark actually picked her
up on his way back up from the city so it saved me a trip! Sunday I drove Franca back to the city,
stopped at my parents for lunch and then dropped her off. It was such a lovely
time.

Three more weeks to Christmas. I have already put up all my lovely Christmas
lights. Put outdoor lights up for the first time but I still have no pictures
to post.

I was doing a 365 project – 1 photo per day for an entire
year – but I quit that. I used to take pictures for fun but the 365 project
became a chore and it wasn’t fun anymore. When things stop being fun for me I
lose interest. Quitting the 365 project should help me get back into the fun of
picture taking.

Lunch is over and I have work to do. Have a great day!

Stay Safe & Have Fun!

//\\oo//\\

HAHAHAHA

My youngest sister Luisa came up for the weekend. We spent Friday night watching movies. Saturday we went to the gym to work out (I got her a free guest pass) and Saturday evening we went out to Putting Edge which is a glow in the dark indoor golf place. We were joined by my friend Julie and her friend Melanie. Luisa won of course. Julie, Melanie and I were all 1 point apart. Lu and I went home to "pre-drink" is what they call it these days. I am such a cheap drunk that 2 drinks was all it took to get me into the partying mood. I had asked Mark if he would drive us there so I didn't have to worry about drinking and driving and he said yes! He is way too awesome for words sometimes. He even came to pick us up at 2:45 am AND brought us to McDonalds! I love him. The bar was great. We had such a great time. Lu had won a prize at the min-golf, a sort of weird alien looking illuminated spinny wand. She used it at the bar like a microphone and it was great to see the people getting right into it! They would sing to the songs they knew and lip sync to the ones they didn't! Lu made some new friends. I hadn't had so much fun being out in a long time. It was great to have my sister around.

Sunday I drove her back home. We stopped by to pick up my sister Franca so we could have lunch at my parents. Franca is going through some sad times right now. Her cat Chester has kidney problems and may be in his final days of life. She is very upset which is understandable, but she is torn between what to do. She doesn't want to end his life if he is not in any pain, but how does she really know when it's time? I have never had to put a pet to sleep. People often say that when it's time, you will know. I hope that when that time comes for me, I will have the strength and courage to make the right decision. Sometimes I wonder if it's right to make that choice on behalf of another living being. What gives us the right to choose when they must die? Why are we not granted that same choice on our own lives? So much controversy on the topic of Human Euthanasia, but we practice this same life altering procedure on other lifeforms so casually. I didn't mean for my blog to take on such a negative tone.

We had lunch with my parents. I drove Franca to Lianne's house, dropped her off at home, then headed over to watch my other sisters play soccer. I won't talk too much about that experience save to say that it hurt me to watch. I could feel the stabbing pain, like a dull knife gouging at my forehead. Granted, most of these girls have never played soccer and the team they were playing against was a rec team, but some of the girls don't even know the basic rules of the game. You can get better with practice, but you can't improve if you don't understand the rules and/or the general principals. My sisters were both very frustrated as they have played before but it is apparently hard to get this group focused, for lack of a better group. I want to play with them so badly now, but I can't afford the soccer shoes I would need to play even if I could borrow the equipment from someone. They play every Sunday but this coming Sunday my mother is coming to spend the day so I don't want to shortchange her with a short 1 hour visit before I have to head down to the game. I think I will definitely join their next team. I told my sisters the other girls would hate me because I would be SO BITCHY! I would make sure they understood the rules of the game and their positions! My sisters have quite the season cut out for them! My poor sister Lu is forced to play goalie because they don't have a goalie. My sister is not a fan of playing goalie, she is much better in the field.

Smallville is loaded up so I bid you goodnight.

Stay Safe & Have Fun!

//\\oo//\\
Happy Halloween

I love Halloween. I got to have dinner with my friend Carol. Carol is quite talented in so many ways. I met Carol in 2004 when she started working with me at my last place of employment. Carol was hired to help with sign design. Shortly after she started, our sales person, and main designer, left. Carol got thrust into a totally new position that I am sure she was not expecting. In those years, we developed quite the unique working relationship. Unique in that we worked so well together and understood exactly what was expected and provided whatever was needed to make their job simpler. Well, we're both Tauruses. We're both specific. We're both about keeping it simple and clear. And we both understand that it's better to take the time and do it right, once. Oh, and of course, her husband's name is the same as my boyfriend. It was destined in the stars that we be friends. It was Carol's artwork I went to see at the gallery on Friday.

We met at The Angry Tomato for dinner. We shared some sweet potato fries and had some pasta. It was nice to catch up. If you get a chance, you should look at her paintings.

It was a good day but the day is over now.

Oh... I forgot to mention that on Sunday when we were on our way to take our hike, a fox crossed the road in front of us. What made is so odd was that the fox was crossing the street from a park into the city with factories and buildings. He looked confused, tired and afraid. Poor little fox. I hope he found his way to where he was going.

Bedtime for Spyders.

Stay Safe & Have Fun!

//\\oo//\\
Flickr Update

I should be sleeping.... but I wanted to let you know that I FINALLY updated my 365 project. I have been sort of slacking. I don't want to do that again because I tell you, it's hard work uploading all those pictures. If you click to my COOKING page you will have to click BACK in your browser so you can check the other pages (at least until they fix it)

On my BLOG page there is a SUBSCRIBE section so you can be notified when I update my page. I am hoping that this will be the last time you will have to do that! Thank you for your patience of course. The page may change as I get more familiar with the program and/or figure out how to do certain things.

My work week was mostly uneventful up until Friday. After work on Friday I went to McMichael's Art Gallery to see my friend's (Carol Clapham)paintings on display. It was the first time I had been to an art show. It was full of wonderful colours and a great many things to see. Carol looked lovely and promised to send me a picture for my website. Carol, I am holding you to your word! As I mentioned in a previous blog,Carol is a great artist. See for yourself! I went with my friend Joetta. We got to the show about an hour early so we sat in her SUV chatting. There is surely never any shortage of conversation when Joetta and I are around. When we got into the show it was the same. We had a few glasses of wine, wandered exploring artworks and talked, talked, talked. By the time we checked the time, two hours had passed! Ooops! Time to go. We left Carol (who was there with her lovely assistant) when some other family members showed up. I wish Carol all the best and greatest success with her pieces.

We have company. Mark's friend Mike came to town and spent the evening. It's nice when Mark's friends visit. Mark doesn't have any family or friends in Barrie as he just moved here a little while ago. Having is friends visit is nice for him. I baked some yummy cookies and they are almost gone. I believe Mike ate most of them (so Mark says) but they were warm and tasty, fresh out of the oven! Oh they were so good. Can you believe there are only four cookies left? But they were yummy!
Success - I think?

I am at work - I should be working - but I got involved in playing around with my new website - not sure how I feel about this yet... but I am working on it. TGIF

Yes... today is Friday. Friday is the end of the week for me. This excites me. I get to catch up on the things I have not had time to do during the week. Laundry, cleaning, relaxing. Most people look forward to the weekend to "DO" stuff. I look forward to the weekend soI can put my house back in order. The fur balls from my shedding animals aren't really fur balls. Dust bunnies is a good term because these pieces of fur around the house are really the size of bunnies. The expression "multiplying the rabbits" really applies to dust bunnies too! I sweep a few times per week to try to keep on top of it but it seems that all the sweeping does it create a clean slate for new bunnies to appear. The animals don't seem to mind. Perhaps I am the only one who is bothered by these "bunnies".

On a happy note, my sister Luisa graduated from college. She is nowa Child and Youth Care Worker which means she can do more work with the children and in different fields. Could be more money too but who really knows these days since pay structures have been changing quite a bit this past year. I have some pictures but they are still on the camera. I will make sure to post them once I have them (part of the weekend catch-up). They had food and refreshments after the ceremony and I ate some veggies and fruits. Had some pizza too though I gave the cheesy toppings to my sisters. Plain saucy bread is still tasty because I LOVE bread. LOVE bread. Maybe it's because I am Italian. Maybe it's because my father has worked in a bakery all of my life. Maybe it's because bread is SO tasty.

At some point during the festivities, I ALMOSTsaved someone's life. No, she didn't die! I was watching this woman. I have a habit of people watching. I like to see what people are doing(without stalking or staring of course) and I noticed this woman spit into her plate of food. Didn't think anything of it until I notice shews more throwing up in her plate than spitting. I was mostly grossed out wondering why she wasn't going to the bathroom. She wasn't distressed or anything. I see her trying to talk but she isn't saying anything. I was sitting about 3 rows back from her when I heard hearsay a little louder "I am choking..." I leapt out of my seat and charged through the chairs to get to her at the same time as her husband. I was prepared to go all Heimlich on her but she was breathing and still talking so there was no need for it. She had eaten some celery that had gotten stuck in her throat. She could not swallow it or spit it up and if she tried to drink water, the water simply comeback out because there was no way for it to get through. One of the ladies wanted to call an ambulance but she refused. Her husband finally convinced her that she needed medical attention so off they went.

There were SO many plates of food one of the organizers insisted people take some home so it was the perfect opportunity for me to make mark's lunch! I packed a plate full of various wraps and little pizza slices. I also got a piece of cake. I figure since I can't eat any of it, the food I took was my portion and I was entitled to it! Mark enjoyed it and that's all that matters I say.

My ear started to hurt me yesterday. I feel an infection coming on. Luckily, I have drops from the ear infection I had almost exactly one year ago. I put in some drops and took a few Advils and went to sleep. The pain is less intense today though I forgot to put drops in this morning. I will put drops in when I get home from work and hopefully that will help with the pain, which really is much less intense today.

Stay Safe & Have Fun!

//\\oo//\\

Website Update

The
day after Thanksgiving - let me tell you - I am STILL stuffed (OK, I
lie since I just finished having lunch which was Thanksgiving leftovers
- the holiday will live on for a few more days at least). This was my
2nd "meatless" Thanksgiving celebration. Last year my sister decided
we should have Tofurkey. We had Tofurkey. We decided then and there
that we would NEVER have Tofurkey again!

So... what did we eat on Thanksgiving? Lots of YUMMY things that
did not include any animal products. My mother made the turkey. She
made a traditional bean side-dish made with fava beans, mushrooms, peas
and onions (I LOVE LOVE LOVE this), brussel sprouts, asparagus (it was
a little overcooked). My sister Josie made some roasted potatoes with
rosemary and garlic (they were tasty but a little stuck to the bottom
of the pan - the stuck on part was crunchy and yummy if you could
unstick it - the potatoes were very tasty too) . I brought everything
else.

I started preparing food on Sunday and my contribution to the dinner
was almost entirely vegan. No one noticed though so it's a good
thing. Last year they were not impressed with the vegan alternatives
but I have had a year of vegan living to work on enhancing the flavours
of my meals and sides. I brought to dinner:

bread stuffing (vegan)

stuffed mushrooms (vegan)

rice with veggies (vegan)

mashed potato casserole (vegan except for the cheddar cheese, made a vegan verson for me)

curried squash (vegan)

chewy chocolate chip nut oatmeal cookies (vegan)

apple cake (vegan) with vanilla icecream (soy icecream for me)

I can't begin to tell you how stuffed I was at the end of the meal.
Actually, I was stuffed before the meal started because I was tasting
things as I was cooking them at home before we left for my parents
place and the cooking smells of the day just filled me up. By the time
it was time to eat at my parents place though, I was plenty hungry
again! YUM!

I LOVE FOOD! People eat to live. I live to eat! I am such a
glutton which I know is bad but I cannot help that I love food. Oh how
I love to eat. I love to sit and savor food, trying to identify
individual ingredients, working out the flavours and textures in my
mouth. Food, Food... oh how I love thee food!

My sister's G/F also came to dinner. It was a first for us. I
can't believe how CIVIL my father was being. He normally bitches and
complains about EVERYTHING but yesterday he was remarkably quiet. He
also ate several cookies when no one was looking. I think he even had
a bonding moment with Mark! He had a problem with his car and Mark
helped him fix it. I think as time goes on he really does like Mark
more and more. I am glad because Mark is a great guy.

Stay Safe & Have Fun!

Day 2 of my new blog home. All I smell is chicken wings (Mark just made lunch)

Julie will be coming over shortly and I will be spending some
time with her. I believe a hike with the dog is in order. Julie just
had a birthday on Wednesday but she was in Brampton visiting family so
I didn't get to see her. Today will be her special birthday day!
Hurray!

I cleaned the kitchen up this morning. It's not a great job
(I was lazy and industrious at the same time) but it looks a lil'
better than it did. The joy of cleaning. That should be a book. I
mean, they have The Joy of Cooking and The Joy of Sex
which was modeled after The Joy of Cooking, but I can't say that I
have ever heard of a book called The Joy of Cleaning. Now, the
curiosity has gotten the better of me and I must look it up. ....
Alas, there is no The Joy of Cleaning. There are a few cleaning
companies called, you guessed it, The Joy of Cleaning, but no book that
comes up right off. There are people who say they like cleaning? I'd
like to know what makes them tick. I clean because I have to clean and
never at all because it gives me pleasure.

The smell of food is making me hungry. I must go forage for something to eat.

Stay Safe & Have Fun!

//\\oo//\\

entry to document the birth of my own personal website. Hurray! Lest I
not become sidetracked from my original train of thought, I had written
quite the extensive blog entry about my new website, my job,
Thanksgiving and some other random things I can't remember and clicked
the save button. There was my blog entry, so alive and ready to
entertain all of my readers! Hurray I say. Hurray indeed! And as I
modified sections and moved things around and deleted this and added
that, I suddenly realized that my blog was gone. Somehow,
inadvertently, I deleted my blog! The HORROR I tell you.

Everyone always knows the second attempt to retell the same tale is
often less exciting mostly because you have to type it all over again,
partly because I don't remember everything I wrote and of the things I
do remember writing, it will never be written the same way with the
exact same expression and mood because I will not be able to capture
that style again. It's gone. A puff of smoke in the wind. But I will
try to capture something for you. Different is good.

OK - so I have my own website. I was randomly searching the
internet for things and then for random curiosity, clicked on the
supporting link information on the bottom of many websites. It brought
me to SquareSpace
which is a webhosting site. They offer 14 free days of hosting and
when I register my account with them, I get my own website. For some
reason I have always wanted to have a www.spydervenym.com website.
It's a weird fascination of mine to have a place on the web that is my
very own, not a piggyback on someone else's name. So, I will use these
free 14 days to set up my site the way I want it and then I will likely
upgrade my membership. YAY!

It's Thanksgiving weekend. I am so looking forward to the hoards of
vegetable dishes. It will be my 2nd turkey free holiday. Last year my
sister and I had Tofurky which was pretty F#@$ING nasty! I can't say
it was just me because my sister didn't like it either. We decided
that we would avoid turkey substitutes and enjoy the glorious array of
scrumptious vegetable dishes. I will be so stuffed, I can already feel
it! "HELP"

I have my 6 week performance review at work next week. It is kind
of strange because I have never had a real review that was called a
review. My old boss would take me out to lunch once in a while and
check to see how I was doing, give me more tasks, talk about a raise.
Is that a performance review? I will keep you posted.

I
am going to the same Halloween Party I went to last year. A costume
party. I have been searching for pictures on the internet to give me
inspirations. Some of things I have found are down right disturbing
but it was interesting to see people's attempts at gore and fear.
Halloween is my favourite time of the year. I have never worn one of
those slutty costumes, no sexy nurse or French maid. I think Halloween
is a time for spooks and creey so I always work that angle. I loved
last years costume! I was supposed to be an Evil Doll but some also
thought I was an Evil Clown which is always very possible. I can see
it. The night comes with a full course dinner (of course I ask for a
vegan alternative) and open bar. I am not a big drinker but for those
that like to drink it could be an ideal setting. It was such a great
time and I am going again with at least one of my sisters.

I keep thinking there might have been something else I wanted to
write... but now I can't think of it so I will leave you with a simple
goodnight. To the first of many blogs in my very own pad on the web.

Thanks for stopping by.

Stay Safe & Have Fun.

It's the Weekend.... I've missed you Weekend!

Another week
has gone by already. The weather has surely changed. It’s been quite
cold with temperatures dropping to the lower single digits. BRRRR I
tell you. It’s unseasonably cold. The average temperatures for this
time of year is in the mid teens. It should get to be a little nicer
early next week. My fingers are crossed anyway.

I am thinking
I need a haircut. Mark has to work in the morning so perhaps I will go
and get my hair cut. I haven’t cut it since I cut it for the Locks of
Love donation we made back in …. July? June? It seems so long ago
already. My hair is getting quite longish as it’s brushing my
shoulders already. I will see if I get motivated enough to cut my hair
tomorrow. I know I need to do it but I am not really sure when I will
do it. Can you sense some procrastination? I call it pure 100% LAZY
which I enjoy from time to time. When I got home from work Mark had a
haircut and was super clean shaven – SMOOOOTH shaven. He looked very
handsome (he’d be blushing if you could see him, I love you honey :X )

As it typical for me, right in the middle of blogging I started
doing something else. Birthdays are coming up – lots of them in
October! And then, I remembered about my blog and looked up and saw
the screen winking at me, patiently waiting with the little flashing
cursor, waiting for me to fill its face with text (as I am doing right
now)

There was one thing I did want to mention. A good friend of mine Carol Clapham, has started up her own website
to showcase and sell her artwork. I am no art critic, but I find her
paintings calm me, they bring over me a certain serenity that I cannot
explain. Perhaps the soft edges of the colours and the very simplicity
of the painted scenes are the cause, or the gentleness of the colours
in the images, I really like them. I always knew Carol was a creative
person but I never knew the extent of her skill until I saw her
paintings. Congratulations Carol! May you have great success while
doing something you love so much. I will be seeing Carol for dinner in
a couple of weeks.

The evening is getting late and I have a
few more things to do get done before bed. I get to sleep in
tomorrow. You really don’t know how much I look forward to weekends
now that I work during the week. When I was unemployed, every day was
just like every other day and honestly, the weekend didn’t bring too
much joy to my life other than I would spend more time with Mark. I
look forward to them now, being able to spend that time with my furry
animals and Mark (in no particular order).

Have a great day!

Stay Safe & Have Fun!

//\\oo//\\

Another Week - Another Blog

Hard to believe another week has already gone by! Time flies when you're running around like a chicken with no head! The week wasn't too bad actually and the weather was mostly perfect.

The weekend started with me being at the Sign Show on Friday morning. I was there Friday and Saturday - but let's start with the Friday recap. I got to the show right before 9am and got to meet the manufacturers of the product I am representing. The booth was very small and the other people in the booth were little Asian people. I have nothing against them - just stating a fact - the fact that I towered over them! The manufacturer of the product we distribute is in China - the company I work for is the distributor for their products in Ontario. I talked and talked and talked. After the show I went to visit my friend Franca. I haven't been to her house in over 2 years. Children grow like weeds I tell you because her kids were HUGE! They were so grownup already! I couldn't believe my eyes. She made a lovely dinner for me (some stewed zucchini) and we chatted and caught up. It was So lovely to see her again. Her husband is a pilot - he flies the small planes. Last time I saw her and her husband, we met for lunch inBarrie. Mark showed some great interest in going flying with him. I reminded him that the next time he goes flying Mark would LOVE to go with him. He's all happy and I am sure when he calls, Mark will be happy too. I got home about 10:30pm... undressed and went straight tobed. I was EXHAUSTED and my feet were killing from standing all day. Mark said I was out so FAST (and I believe him because I could barely keep my eyes open as it was)

Saturday morning I headed back down to the sign show for my 2nd day. I started just after 10am and was there until just after 4pm. By the end of my 2nd day my throat was so raw from all the talking I did. Talk, talk, talk, talk. I talk a lot I know this, but the sign show was different - I talked a lot more than normal! (laugh it up smart asses) After the sign show I went to Brampton to hang out with Julie. Julie was at her mom's dog sitting asher parents went away for the weekend. We hung out for a while. Bythe time I got home it was after 12:30am. I was even more exhausted than the day before.

Needless to say, I did NOTHING on Sunday. I baked some cookies and watched some TV with Mark - went in the hottuband generally relaxed. Mark had changed the hot tub water on Saturday so it was nice and clean. It was DIVINE! I recommend it to anyone. I think I have to go shopping tonight on my way home - groceries must bebought, especially stuff for lunches for Mark.

Till next time.

Stay Safe & Have Fun!

//\\oo//\\

Original post and comments HERE
